Main Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage shredded
- 2 cups carrots shredded
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, mustard seed, and celery seed. Bring to a boil.
Pour the hot mixture over the cabbage and carrots. Toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
