Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Codfish fillets cut into chunks
  • 2 Onions finely chopped
  • 3 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 Green bell pepper chopped
  • 400 g Tomatoes diced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 500 ml Fish stock
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomatoes and paprika, and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour in the fish stock and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the codfish chunks, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot with crusty bread.
