Main Ingredients
- 10 cups Popped popcorn
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup Light corn syrup
- ½ cup Butter
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
Place popcorn in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract.
Pour caramel mixture over popcorn, stirring to coat evenly.
Spread popcorn on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
