Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 cups Popped popcorn
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Light corn syrup
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Place popcorn in a large bowl.
  3. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Spread popcorn on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
