Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Dip each chicken breast in olive oil, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
