A classic holiday drink made with eggs, milk, cream, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until well combined.
2. In a saucepan, heat the milk and cream over medium heat until just simmering.
3. Gradually add the hot milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and ground nutmeg.
6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
