Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 pc Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 pc Carrot, diced
- 1 pc Celery stalk, diced
- 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups Elbow macaroni
- 1 cup Evaporated milk
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the diced carrot and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the shredded chicken and cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
6. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
7. Lower the heat and stir in the evaporated milk. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
