Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 pc Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pc Carrot, diced
  • 1 pc Celery stalk, diced
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Evaporated milk
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the diced carrot and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in the shredded chicken and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. 6. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Lower the heat and stir in the evaporated milk. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
