Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger root, sliced
  • 1 inch Fresh turmeric root, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Honey optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. 2. Add sliced ginger and turmeric. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Strain the tea into teacups.
  4. 4. Add honey and lemon juice if desired. Stir well and serve hot.
