- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 jalapeño, minced optional
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Mash the avocado with a fork, leaving it a bit chunky.
3. Add the chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño (if using), and salt to the bowl. Mix well.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately.
