- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup lukewarm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups pearl sugar
In a bowl, combine flour and salt.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk, let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mix until smooth.
Fold in pearl sugar.
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat waffle iron and cook waffles until golden brown.
