Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80% lean
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 Burger Buns split
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix well.
  3. 3. Form the beef mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. 4. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. 5. While the patties are cooking, warm the pizza sauce in a small saucepan.
  6. 6. Once the patties are cooked, place them on the bottom halves of the burger buns.
  7. 7. Spoon pizza sauce over each patty, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. 8. Place the top halves of the buns on the burgers and serve immediately.
