  • 4 pork steaks about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  2. 2. Season the pork steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. 3. Place the pork steaks in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  4. 4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet during the last 2 minutes of cooking and stir to combine.
  5. 5. Remove the pork steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
