- 1 unit Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
- 6 slices Bacon chopped
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 3 units Eggs
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
In a frying pan, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Spread the cooked bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
