Salisbury Steak Recipe
A classic comfort food dish made with seasoned ground beef patties and a rich mushroom gravy.

- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Egg beaten
- ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Gravy
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
- 1 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are tender.
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir well. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Return the patties to the skillet and spoon gravy over them. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
