Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab meat fresh or canned
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Flour

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk to form a roux. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add heavy cream, crab meat, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional crab meat if desired.
