Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 3 cups Russet potatoes sliced
  • 2 cups Kale chopped
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Add the chicken broth and sliced potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Stir in the cooked sausage, chopped kale, and heavy cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
