Flaming Greek Cheese Saganaki Recipe
A delicious and dramatic Greek appetizer made with fried cheese, flambéed with brandy, and served with lemon juice.

Main Ingredients
- 200 g Kasseri or Kefalotyri cheese cut into 1 cm thick slices
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 shot Brandy
- 1 Lemon cut into wedges
1. Dredge the cheese slices in flour, shaking off any excess.
2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
3. Fry the cheese slices until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
4. Remove the pan from heat, pour the brandy over the cheese, and carefully ignite with a lighter or match. Let the flames subside.
5. Squeeze lemon juice over the cheese and serve immediately.
