  • 200 g Kasseri or Kefalotyri cheese cut into 1 cm thick slices
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 shot Brandy
  • 1 Lemon cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Dredge the cheese slices in flour, shaking off any excess.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Fry the cheese slices until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Remove the pan from heat, pour the brandy over the cheese, and carefully ignite with a lighter or match. Let the flames subside.
  5. 5. Squeeze lemon juice over the cheese and serve immediately.
