- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices Bread, toasted
- to taste Salt and pepper
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Pour cheese sauce over toasted bread slices and serve immediately.
